I had a boyfriend who shot a gun in my direction once, but pointed it to the side before he pulled the trigger. He was drunk. I yelled at him that he was an idiot because it really made me mad. That was the last time I ever saw that loser. |

i've had this happen with me before..with similar threats..and this one...its really scary. just think..if you stay.you'll be miserable..if you leave theres that chance that they might go through with it. it took me 1 yr to leave my bf when he started witht that crap. i was so scared that yr..i didnt want to to anything to piss him off cause i knew what he would do..but eventually i just got sick of being scared. so i left..i figured..i'd rather be free from him than be stuck there. i felt trapped.and im glad i did it. he never did anything...just bugged me for a good 6 motnhs after i ended it with him (after 3 yrs) it was hell..but i was GLAD i did it. id rather be dead than be with him. its a scary decision..but leave. its the best..youll drive youself nuts if you stay |

Get myself and the kids (if any) to safety immediately if possible. Call 911. Get a restraining order and follow through with any and all court orders/testimony, etc. Move away and start a new life! Nobody needs that kind of fear and stress in their life. Good luck and God Bless! |

Laugh at him because he knows better. If I was in your situation though and it seemed like something serious then it's time to move out. Tell your parents and see if you can stay with them until you find a place of your own. If he's doing this seriously then it's over and time for you to move on. |

You need to leave, tonight. Go to your local police and they'll provide you with the address of the local battered women's shelter. If you stay, you will probably not be alive for long. Don't worry about your personal possessions, they are only things and things can be replaced, you cannot. Leave, leave, leave, leave. I cannot emphasize that enough. |

Seriously if you are being threatened,and I mean truly being threatened, with gunfire by your spouse and that person doing the threatening is in the military you need to seek help quickly. But do it cautiously. The best route is to find a family/marriage counselor and speak to them but let them know if you want them to be talking to your spouses command or not because once command knows that they did that or once the counselor reports it as assault they can be discharged faster than you can read this. Believe me I have personal experience. |
