Yes. There are strict rules on how you must appear. One such rule would be no "faddish" hair styles. You don't have to shave your head like the boys, but you must appear professional, and you have to keep a certain type of look about you.

I think it will really depend on your style of locks. If you have really woolly thick dreads like a Rastaman aka traditional locks, then you may have a problem. Cause those are definitely interfering with your head gear, especially if you job requires a helmet.
On the other hand, if you have tight locks that are twisted and long enough that you can pull into a bun that will fit either under your uniform cover (hat) or rest above the collar of your uniform, you may be able to get some sort of religion waver.
The main thing to to consider is professionalism and lack of attention drawn. |
