Ok so i want to go to school to be a pharmacist!
so im a senior next year so i was thinking i will join the navy after next summer
so how do i know what im going to be doing in the navy?
how do i go about geting my free schooling ...(college)
do i get to pick the college?
and who do i talk to because everyone is saying that recruters lie

be careful about listening to d_underway - he is a recruiter and thereby a bit dodgy -- kind of like a politicians (think former Ill Governor when thinking of recruiters LOL)
Take a look at the US NAVY site, and before going to see a navy recruiter, write down all questions you want to ask and be precise and specific, recruiters are only concerned about making quotas, getting medals and accolades oh and extra marital affairs but we wont go there.
The recruiter will not volunteer information or elaborate, if anything they will exaggerate even fabricate.

You are able to join the navy this summer after the current seniors graduate. Sometime in early June. One of the advantages of joining early is getting a guranteed job. You can be in the delayed entry program up to 365 days (longer if you are going to be a senior next year). The biggest advantage of this is you won't have to wait an additional six months after graduating. I'm a navy recruiter in Cleveland and we had a guy join last July after he graduated. The only job in the navy that is a pharmacist is HM in which most males go with the marines. |
