JTD they are not the same, they have the same/similar training but one is British and the other is pure United States of America.
I'd say go for it. You know that British Royal Marines and USMC have an official "brotherhood" thing right? Just saying.
But yeah it's a good idea.. it's the Marine Corps, who doesn't want to be one? |

Your question is a little confusing. Exactly what is it you are trying to ask. You state you are not interested in joining the marines because you dont like any answer saying join the royal marines??????? |

Figure which country u are more patriotic. You wouldnt want to go against a country that u feel more for than ur own.
Personally I suggest u don't join either. In the battlefield its hell and even if you live, you might be damaged mentally or physically.
Both are the same really, its just the equipment they use. The Marines use mainly the M16, the British the SA80. The M16 is an ok gun, but it jams a lot. The SA80 is a bullpup gun, which makes reloading weird, but is ok too. These are the most common weaponary of the U.S. and U.K. but I'm not betting that you'll end up with these weapons. |
