Im getting out of the Army on an Honorable disscharge, after im out of the army ,can i join the US.Coastguard?

As long as you are under their age requirement and have an Honorable. There should be no problem. Even if you are over their age requirement, some services will extend their max age 1 year for every year you spent on AD. These are not guesses, I am an ex-recruiter for the Navy.

You would be eligible to however the USCG is very restrictive in bringing in prior service applicants. Call the USCG recruiter or go to
www.gocoastguard.com

Enlistment of an applicant who was discharged or released from active duty in pay grade E-3 or below must be approved by Coast Guard Recruiting Center.

If an applicant is enlisting or reenlisting in pay grade E-4 or above, he/she may not have more than 14 years of prior active service. This restriction does not apply to Coast Guard members reenlisting within 24 hours of release.

If an applicant is enlisting or reenlisting in the Coast Guard in pay grade E-3 or below, he/she may not have more than six years of prior active service.

The enlistment of prior service personnel will normally not be effected in a pay grade higher than that held on last separation from regular active duty.

i know that the army, marines, and navy take prior service but you probably need to just talk to a cg recruiter

I'm not positive on the US Coastguard part...

but I DO know, some branches will not take prior service members.

I would do a Google search on US Coastguard, prior service... see what that brings up.
