Im in the Air Force DEP...can i do this...?

I joined because i want to serve my country, travel, and get out on my own...

also, i want to learn to fly a plane. Can i somehow learn that while in the air force...im not trying to be a pilot in the AF.

Sure, you just go to the local civilian airport and see if they have a flight instructor who teaches flying.

Then pay him the $200 an hour for flight instruction.

The Air Force doesn't care what you do on your own time.

But the Air Force will not teach you to fly.
