Im moving with my husband who is recently in air force. I dont know where we will be stationed yet...?

but it most likely will be florida or california. I am intending on taking a nursing program wherever we end up stationed at. I was looking at the colleges online and it did not seem very promisinng that i would get into the rn program right away. I just need any suggestions on what to do or what other careers I could pursue that are along the pay as a nurse.

You should look to see if there is a community college located near your base. Many times enrollment at community colleges is rolling - that means that you can begin at the beginning of the next term. Many times there are educational facilities on military posts. When you know where you will be stationed, you should call the education adviser for the post.

Anything in the medical field is a promising career esp for military spouses. RN, Dental Hygienist, xray tech, radiologist, nuclear medicine tech, pharmacist. ect...
