the reality is, that while adultery is punishable according to the UCMJ, nothing will happen to him..UNLESS he is an officer and you are an enlisted person.
nobody 'forgets' for 2 solid weeks. in any event, you will get NOTHING from this guy, until you prove that the child is his. which means paying fro a DNA test on your own, and then getting a court order for child support and requiring him to provide Tricare insurance. you, however, are entitled to nothing at all.
as far as the military is concerned, this is a civilian matter(except in the instance noted above). the person who will get him intothe most trouble, is his wife. |

He SHOULD get in trouble, as should you. What are you doing sleeping with a married man? And no one "forgets" to take a pill that they take every day. I think you wanted to get pregnant and mess up your life and his. Congratulations on officially being a s-l-u-t! |

Why were you sleeping with a married man in the first place?? Most likely YES he will get in trouble. |

FloridaGirl

I don't know but I'm sorry for his wife. How do you forget to take your pill so many times? |

In theory yes he can......adultery is dirty business
cha-ching...his wife has first claim to any benefits |

In more ways than one--as it should be. It's not the getting pregnant that's the problem! It both of you doing what got you pregnant when he is married! Too bad you can't see the problem! |

Adultery is a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He could, in theory, be court-martialed. A conviction could result in loss of rank and, therefore, pay. I say could because his Commander would determine how best to address his violation of the UCMJ. There are other options, although I don't think that administrative separation would be available in this case. |

He can be Court Marshaled or get an Article 15...when you go to get child support and medical care for the child...they will turn him in to his Commander and if his wife is pissed and pushes the Command to do something...they will skull drag him...which they should...are you sure you are not my ex wife? she is in the same situation... |

yes, adultery is against the code of military conduct. Is he enlisted or an officer? Either way he could get into trouble.
But he cannot be your concern. You and your baby should be first in your mind. Make him stand up and do the right thing |

So, you are careless about taking your pill and get pregnant. Now you want to get him in trouble? You're a real sweetheart! I don't know if he can get in trouble and would not tell you if I did. |
|

Goober W

Yes. He has plenty to lose, but he should have thought of that before getting his adulterous hits on. The ball is in your court now. |

Yes. Adultery is not taken lightly by the military(considered extremely dishonorable conduct). It's a means for dismissal and always as a dishonorable discharge which usually means no benefits and other such things. |

How can you forget to take a pill for 2 weeks!
Sounds as if you had a motive for your forgetfullness.
I doubt that he is going to be in any trouble. |

YES. Absolutely. |

Yes he can get in a lot of trouble. If they find out he will go to captain's mass which is sort of the military way of going before a judge and he could be thrown in the brig. The military takes that kind of thing very seriously. It could be even worse if you are in the military, or a government employee. Losing his benefits may be the least of his worries. |

So I'm sensing that you want to tell someone about this... him, his wife or his command? Sooooo... you forgot to take your pill for 2 weeks, you had an affair with a married guy and now you want to see what you can get out of the deal? Women like you should be spayed! |
|

well i dont know about losing benefits but he can get kick out all you have to do is call the base security and show proof that he had comitted the crime and just wait for the result. |

Yes, if his commander sees fit to do something about it. |

yes, most likely a dishonorable discharge. good luck to him on getting a decent job the rest of his life. and good job to you for screwing it up. |

He can spend serious time in the brig. Of course, he was the only person getting laid so its all his fault. So what do you care? You have a kid on a pension. |
|

mcnasty

thanks for the laugh, what were you doing sleeping with the married guy, i supose you didnt know he was married, right? |
|

?
 |
He can get in trouble only if you or his wife make a big deal about it. Otherwise no one will know. He will most likely spend time in the brig and then get a dishonorable discharge. Don't rock the boat. Just have the kid and get on with your life. Leave the married men alone. |

Yes. As the young Marine, I met a Staff Sargent demoted to Sargent, was limited to the Barracks for several months, and give a discharge that was not "Under other than Honorable conditions." That is one step above dishonorable. He lost his career and his benefits.
Here is the thing, he was technically still married (he was separated) when he met girlfriend. He moved in with her before he was divorced.
In my opinion he got screwed. |

If found out he is in a whole world of poop.
The army frown on adultery and he will be posted straight out of the unit and get a chat (without coffee) with his co ...
Without being nasty .. you knew he was married and you really should not have gone there..
I know it takes two to tango but if you are serving you will be ruined too and posted out and it will be on your file
I feel sorry for his wife and kids and i think you should be worried about if you are pregnant or not rather than thinking of his education benefits .
He was not obviously thinking of them |

Alright, here is the story, I'm a former military, and seeing someone married and having an affair can get him in trouble. What would happen which I seen someone get in trouble for was having an affair. Its up to the wife. If she wants to F-him over. He'll be put in the brig and dropped in rank if they higher ups hear about this situation. And if the wife gets involved with the command. You can not keep this low key is because if you do have this child he will HAVE to pay child support, and thats when it all goes down hill. I don't know if you want to get an abortion, its not my chose to make but yours. He will not be kicked out but at work he'll be looked at as an adultry person. |

What you two did is wrong!!! It's women like you that cause divorce rates to be so high because you can't keep your legs closed. You knew he was married as did he so can he get in trouble yes but not with proof. So as pertaining to you and your child accident I think not you probably saw dollar signs in you eyes and didn't care about the wife but when she finds out I hope she gets her revenge on both of you.
