how hard will it be to get a compassionate back to ft hood where she at getting treated and when should i enroll in the efmp program and what benefits will that give me? because she will need me to help take care of her and our children for at least the first year any

You don't have to go airborne - that is voluntary - compassionate reassignments are given at the discretion of the Army - check with your recruiter and see if you can get it in your contract.

If you are reclassing into infantry and going airborne, you probably are not going to ft hood. Best guess, Ft Bragg. But don't worry, whatever she is getting treated for at Hood can be done at Bragg.

You probably should talk to your recruiter. If they have you scheduled for Airborne training, they are probably going to want to assign you to an Airborne base.
