In AF pararescue "indoc"...?

Do most of the trainees' when doing the swimming portion swim every 2 stroke, 4 stroke, 6 stroke etc...? (meaning, how many strokes do they take before they lift there head for air) Im leave june 16 for basic and then off to INDOC. And right now im swimming using 2 stroke then coming up for breath. especially when swimming distance. I was just wondering if the instructors at indoc make you use a certain stroke or if its your choice. Also how many strokes would you recommend using? (of course more strokes and coming up less for air is a faster way to swim, but i just can't go long distance yet using 4 or 6 stroke method. I find myself getting really tired easier. But if i do the two stroke THEN lift my head for air i can swim long distance...1500meters)))

Don't get yourself into a routine that you may have to change later. Keep swimming but use different stokes and breathing patterns. They might use a totally different method.
