You might, you might not. As soon as her information is entered into DEERS she will qualify for Tricare Standard which has a yearly deductible and co-pay. And you should be getting BAH w/dependents based on the zip code of the residence when you signed. Now it can take several weeks before it gets to her but you will send a package in the mail with Form DD1172 that allows her to go to get a Military ID card from the closest base or Reserve Center. When she has that ID she can use all base facilities, she can also change to Tricare Prime if she wants to. Also in that package is usually the original marriage certificate, her birth certificate and SSN card. Plus any other information she needs. |

I don't think your family qualifies for military benefits (housing, etc.) until you've graduated from basic training so you would be able to call her then. I could be wrong though and you might have to fill everything out in the first week of BMT.
