Here is a pre-answer: If a war between USA and China and no nukes allowed, who would win? CHINA WOULD WIN easily! So to answer your question, USA would lose if alone against all countries united. Do some research on the companies that The People's Republic of China has bought (yeah, they are commies and don't believe in corporations - HA!), along with technical know-how that acquired with those companies. Also their HUGE recent military build-up. And they have enough people to visit each person on Earth on a regular basis.
If nukes were a factor, China has more nukes pointed at USA than USA leadership wants anyone to know about.
I say this! Yahoo shold not allow self censorship of political speach of Yahoo products in China.

We would all lose. In US against the World, we would run out of raw materials. There are too many places that would need to be bombed, held, & protected. We'd be spread to thin!

The rest of the world would easily win. Yes strategically our location is good, but we would have to fight a two front war against Canada, Mexico, and their allies (the rest of the world) Texas, California, and other southern border states would fall quite quickly abetted by fifth columnists already living in those states.
The country would rapidly deterioate into civil war, and the Chinese flag would be flying from DC.

With or without nukes, the US would win. Global air superiority helps. Any attempt to conquer the land itself would be doomed to failure; there's too much land to take and hold, and too many Americans with guns that would never stop fighting as long as an invading army parked its butt on our soil. |
