In a war between china and russia as allies and the usa who would win ?

Before I start, I state that this is all part of my opinion. If I offend anyone, I apologize before hand and if you wish to contradict/argue with me, alright, but I wont really care.

If it were in a nuclear battle (and taking out the fact of Armageddon), Id say that Russia and China would win. Russia has a larger arsenal stockpiled from the Cold-war, and even though America might have better technology, the country would be devastated by the huge armada of nuclear warheads covering every major area (and besides, Russia and China have a larger population and land mass, which may help them rebound easily from a nuclear battle). However, if the USA were to win the nuclear exchange, they would in turn be crippled greatly from the loss of economy (trades with China, and oil from Russia; they would have to purchase the more expensive gallons from the middle east), which would lead to another depression.

In conventional war, i'm going to have to side with the Russia and China side again. So the USA has a large navy, has no one heard of surprise attacks? Pearl Harbor all over? Not to mention that the USA depends greatly on China's cheap labor and products, the army itself would be crippled in supply (which lead to Germany's defeat in WW2). And how does everybody know that the USA is more technologically advanced than Russia and China? Is it just because America uses more propaganda than Communist countries with television shows such as Future-Weapons? If I remember correctly, Russia was the first to launch a satellite. Leaning more to the military side, China was found to have been the first to create the crossbow.

And finally, i'm sorry to say; but Americas troops and Special Forces are NOT the best in the world, as they are put to be. Maybe individual equipment-wise they are. But have any of you ever even HEARD of the discipline they use in Asia (Russia and China)? The Spetsnaz are clearly more well-trained and hardened then American Delta, Marines, or Rangers. They could kill you by chucking a shovel at you (I kid you not) for gods sake. And China is an emerging superpower, so say if the war takes place in 2050, IMO the Chinese military would be FAR better in most aspects than their American opponents. The only thing I see that the United States military possesses right now that is superior are the F-22/A fighters and the Abrams tank. But even those can fall with the proper firepower. Economy wise, they would quickly run out of money (stating again, that they do alot of trade with Russia and China) and since they do spend ALOT on military, I believe its around $400 Billion a year, they would quickly run out of M4's and M1 Abrams.

I just wanted to say that America military isn't always the professional organization they appear to be. I don't want to disrespect any of the personnel, as they are probably far better than me, but its just that TV shows and books like Tom Clancy's that greatly dramatize the USA military as the world power that can crush any opposition.

Who's invading who? That makes a difference- the American Navy is much stronger than China's or Russia's, whereas a wise man once said "Never engage in a land war in Asia".

NUCLEAR....How would you define a win? Even if we killed off 80% of China, they would still have more people after the war than we had before the war. People just do not comprehend just how many Chinese there are. They would end up with more people, probably having to eat each other to stay alive.

CONVENTIONAL....How would we fight that exactly? If we had no allies, the fight would have to be on THEIR land or on OUR land. Neither they nor the USA have the capability to invade the other side with any kind of effective force.

IF WE HAD TIME TO PREPARE? Just how much preparation are you going to allow? The USA can still out produce both of them so the longer everyone can get to prepare the better off the USA will be. It would be to the benefit of China and Russia not to give the USA time to prepare.

Have you nothing better to do than to come up with these kinds of dumb questions?

thats a tough one , the usa has the best stuff but china and russia have unlimited manpower , if it were nuclear i would say the usa, but it would be hard to call a conventional war

Noclear with no allies would probably be the UK, Australia, Canada as the victors and the big winner being Australia because it would suffer less from radiation then the others. Conventional would depend on where as neither side could invade and control the others territory and without any allies the US would not have operating bases in Europe, Asia or the UK only so looking at an amphibious assault against either the Chinese or Russian military plus supporting them by sea or air and the US alone would not the necessary manpower using the US population while the Russians and Chinese would have the same problem but based on lack of sea power rather then the numbers restriction the US would have.. Actually it would end in a stalemate most likely with damage to both countries through air strikes and collateral damage from any attempted land invasion.

In the long run they would if only because of their populations are widely dispersed. Only 59 million Americans live in tons under 200,000. Our urbanization would make us an easier target. Also both of those countries are producers not consumers and can withstand a longer war. We would not last too long without spare parts and food.

But with nuclear, eventually all sides lose as the movie went...

Nuclear: Everyone loses
Conventional: US wins in a quick and EXTREMELY BLOODY conflict.

For conventional conflict, it would last at most a month before the major fighting ended. US air power would turn the tide.

i would like to say america but if it was on land against china and russia combined they simpliy double us in man power so we would probablly loes.but if were air land and sea we would probablly win unless we invaded china with ground infantry they would slaughter us.but if they tried to invade the us we would win our navy coast guard air force and national guard would probablly destroy them before they got to land and if they did make it to land then our army and marines would probablly win also depends who is president.And if it were a nuclear war we would all loes.

Nuclear with prepare time, who ever has second strike capability.
Unprepared, who ever has first strike.

Conventional, The United States, Russia is very poor and probably has not updated it's military.
China is behind both countries with regard to the technology although it has the greater population, if the strike sites are also civilian and not only industrial it does not mean that China would win based on masses alone.

The planet wouldn't be as pretty as it is now.

The US weapons technology is DECADES ahead of russia and china.

there are more women in china's army reserve than their are USA population
also, russia has recently passed USA in military technology.

Obviously nuclear war means everyone loses. In conventional war, the USA's army is on a another level then both RUssia's and Chinas technologically and skill wise. However the USA would be vastly outnumbered unless there were some sort of draft. Either way, All three countries are in for a beating.

i'm not much for hypothetical questions. It's just apparent to me lately, China, though no one will wants to admit it. They're greatest allie. We get so much money from them. Do an inventory of the things you own. How much of it was made in China? . . . . yup. They love our money. And we loooove theirs.

It depends on who our leader it. Whether we "could" win is not in question. We, if we needed to, could destroy ANY enemy totally. If our leader was a Ronald Reagan or Teddy Roosevelt, we would win in a few weeks. If it was a Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton or Barrack Obama we would loose horribly, and also loose our freedom and our country.

The Chinese/ Eastern contribuors on this thread have obviously been seriously mislead. (I'm not surprised... That's what happens when a communist government stops its citizens access to information) Neither China, Russia or America could win a war of occupation against eachother. However, as far as last man standing in a nuclear war the USA wins hands down... They have FAR MORE nuclear weapons than Russia and China have (collectively) and both their (the USA) 1st and 2nd stike capability is FAR superior in comparison to either Russia or Chinas'.. To the uniformed Chinese posters on this thread.. i ask this... If China could 'REALLY' fight the USA ... Why hasn't the Chinese government even tried to take back Tiawan yet ????
