In limbo pending investigation. WTF

After telling my now ex-wife that I was sending her back to the states, she went crazy while I was away on TDY and made a bunch of accusations with CID. My chain of command was notified and immediately placed me in an administrative position with my clearance temporarily suspended pending the investigation. That was 7 months ago. I have yet to be charged with anything. How long can my chain of command keep me from doing my job? Also I was referred to ASAP for an assessment based on her claims. The counselor said she believed I did not have a drinking problem but recommended weekly counceling sessions because I wasnt sent over here for nothing. Now she is threatening to drop me from the ASAP program because I was late to a couple of sessions. Can I be denied re-enlistment for being dropped from ASAP and does she even have the authority to drop me for a non alcohol related infraction? Sorry this is so long. Just stressed. Thanks. Chris
