Military time run on a clock of 24:00 hours.
00:30 means at 12:30 at AM, in the morning.
24:30 does not really make any sense, unless some how you may think it means in exactly 1 day and 30 minutes.
06:00 = 6:00 AM
09:00 = 9:00AM
13:00 = 1:00PM
20:00 = 8:00PM.
Essentially there is no AM or PM...Anything after 12:00 (noon) is pm. |

In the military, you won't be understood if you use "24:30" vs "00:30"; regardless of the military around the world.
BTW: 24-hour time is not strictly military, its known as Universal Time, and the 24-hour clock is used just as commonly as the PM/AM system in America. |

No, 2430 doesn't make sense. Theres only 24 hours in a day, so 2430 isn't possible. |

there are some who use the 24 format but to be correct it should be 0030. The military day starts at midnight. |

No, nobody would know what you were talking about. Military time runs off of a 24-hour clock, not a 24+ hour clock. |
