I heard from someone that your feet can be a feet apart when doing the push-ups. I want to know if this is true. That would make the push-ups so easy for me.
Additional Details
Why do they allow this if that makes push-ups easier.

yes moderately you cant go out there doing the splits or anything. Best advise when your doing company pt or on your own do inverted close hand push ups with your legs closed so that when you do your pt test you wont have to worry about it
Like my old CSM said "the pt test should be the easiest day of pt in your life" |

your feet can be up to 12 inches apart. as ar as difficutly it would make it easier to balance but it has no effect on how much weight yor lifting. |

your feet can be a few inches apart but not like the width of your shoulders, You will be showed plenty of times and get alot of practice to do it correctly |

In the Army our feet could be slightly apart or together. |

That is correct. your feet may be together or up to shoulder length apart. proper form is the most import part about APFT. You might do 100 push ups or sit ups, but if your form is all jacked up none of them will count. |
