Are there any in the infantry? Or are they usually in engineering or intelligence MOS?

I probably have to make clear that I mean American Citizens that came from (born in) India.
NOT Native American Indians.

If they are citizens they would be able to choose whatever MOS they qualify for. It's about the ASVAB, security clearances, and other qualifications. They do not disqualify you from any MOS due to your ethnicity. |

Your drill Instructors won't care. You're all worthless when you get off the bus the first night. :)
But, once your training is over, you get out of the service what you put into it.
I have seen Indian's in almost all MOS's. It all depends on your scores on the tests.
I know a Sgt. that was taught fluent Mandarin at the defense language institute.
I would say go Marines, but I'm biased. |
