Im currently serving my 7th year in the US Army Infantry. Im really considering getting out next years to join the Foreign Legion.
Do you loose your USA citizenship if you join?
I dont plan on living in france the rest of my life. I just think it would be an excelent life experience.

You can choose to accept French Citizenship after you're done, if you accept that I think you lose US Citizenship, but if you refuse it you just go back to the US

Here is a good Documentary on the Legion, I watched it before they mention what happens as regards to Citizenship and stuff.
