i got a 53 on the practice and was told i might score around 60 on the real one

No, not really. A "good" score would be a 70-80 a great score would be 81-90 and a fantastic one would be 90+.
Right now a 50 is passing with little job choice. A 60 is better, but still little choices in jobs. Work hard and practice the test!

The test is designed for a national average of a 50. Whats really gonna matter is your line scores when you go talk to the specific branch. You can have a 60 QT score and have a 95 in electrics or mechanics if you are so inclined. The recruiter will actually have to look those scores up separately because they are each branch specific. |
