no. Every country should have the ability to create nuclear weapons, or none of them. You cannot have just one country holding the world to ransom.

it is also pretty obvious that some americans here have to wrong end of the stick. You, as americans, try to stick your nose pretty much where it isn't wanted [i.e. iraq - i know that the regime was bad and all but the reasons for going to war were crap and the real reason 'Dubya' went to war was for oil].
And America is not the only truly free country, i'd say that its rather more screwed up than most of the countries in western europe.
[off-topic but . . ] for example, we, in the UK, have an NHS [National Health Service] which comes from the government. This means that EVERYONE gets help, there are no preferences on health insurance. They just want to make people healthy.

It's only fair if the country would actually consider using them. Please note that he US has used exactly *two* nuclear bombs, and in doing so saved a million lives by ending WW2.

If the President ever actually tries to use one and there's not such a good reason for doing so... he will be expelled from office.

So yeah, I don't have a problem with witholding WMDs from fanatics.

Unfortunately, it is not fair. However, due to their existence, their proliferation, and global instability it is in our best interests to maintain our own nuclear reserves as a deterrent to nations that might use nuclear weapons without regards of the consequences.

USA is the most near to freedom and rational usage of resource we've known since humanity has born.
And u are WRONG at your post, when u say that USA is the only one who can have nuclear weapons.
Israel, England, India, Paquistan, Russia, France and few others have the right to have nuclear weapons, and they DO have those weapons.
Do u think that such places like Iran have the right to get nuclear technology and develop nuclear weapons? OMG where have u been living? In what world? Just take a look at the ppl there and see how they behave, special attention to their ayatolas and the Iranian president... U must be kidding that such places have the right to get nuclear development only because USA does...
