Is it becoming more acceptable to hate soldiers/marines?

I dont care how anyone feels about me and my cause, because I know, quietly, that I am working for them to be able to hate me. They will all feel really stupid when they need us to protect them if any threat should ever come on our country.

I would never would disrespect any in the military, since I've had family serve in the military. Any misgivings I have would be directed at those people in Washington making policy, not the guys on the ground who are just trying to do their job.

I don't think so. I don't hate them. Although, I don't like what is going on they have my sympathy and support. Maybe a change in sections is called for or take a break. Hope what you say isn't happening but if so try blocking the user or reporting the abuse. They don't deserve that kind of treatment and I hope it stops for all its worth.

Our leftists/liberals have always despised the military and individual warriors. They are trying to put on a show with the "support the troops" thing to try and win elections, but it is wearing off. Look at the big fight over allowing recruiting on college campuses. The libs just hate that law.

The democrats remind me of the cowardly lion in the wizard of oz. They don't have the guts to stand up and say what they really believe. All they do is roar at the other guy.

Liberals have hated our military since sometime around Viet Nam. They claim to support the troops for votes, but very few who claim to be liberal have anything but contempt and absolute hatred for the military.

I would say the *bulk* of the soldier haters are foreign and most likely Al-Qaeda. There will of course always be a few naive Americans that do hate their protectors.

I don't think so. ...i definitly hope not. I think that we learned our lesson as far as not taking care of our soldiers. I think that people feel for them and get frustrated with deaths and such for what some see as us being over there for no reason. However, I think that we stand behind them and if someone where to show some sort of "hate" towards our soldier there would be a big backlash towards that individual.

The liberals love attacking our soldiers because it helps them portray our wars as being as terrible as possible, that they've corrupt our troops. They focus on the rare events, and blow them out of proportion. Their troop hate can be classified as treason. The ones who tolerate this kind of crap are not much better.

Liberals have always hated the military. Look at the Clinton's. They will say to the media that they support the troops. Yet, their actions are to close bases, cut budget, cut health care, etc. The liberal owned media makes it appear to be OK. But, let some of these liberal military haters try to stop a military funeral. The majority support and respect the fallen hero's. It's the vocal minority that get the press time.

I certainly hope that no one is calling these people these types of names. I do not agree with their mission whatsoever.

However how can you condemn their dedication, valor and bravery. They are the best. They were just sent on the wrong
mission.

Everyone I know respects soldiers who are serving. The few who break the military code and human ethics while serving are a shock to us all. But they do not reflect the good integrity of most of the service men and women

it is perfectly acceptable to hate them, as many have shown their true colours. Many are nothing more than thugs and rapists and murderers. The United States Army is nothing more than Bush and Cheney's puppet in Cheney's attempt to take over the middle east's oil supply. Why else would he hold a secret meeting with the energy companies before 9/11 where the division of Iraq's oil supplies was discussed?
