I would ask some of my friends that went there.. but they have yet to return.. this has been 4 years and counting.. I will let you decide what happened...... FYI search Area 51 on Google Earth.. it is very neat..

No........maybe not a sniper....but all unauthorized personel are given warnings multipule times, if you fail to cooperate the government reserves the right to shoot you.

Old wives tale used to scare people away. They have sensors placed all over the area as well as some pretty modern surveillance equipment... they spot you, come pick you up, question you and release you to the civilian authorities.

Area 51 has been emptied and nothing remains but an empty military reservation. It's lightly guarded and trespassers will be escorted off the premises.

so in regards to your question, if i were you, i wouldnt worry about getting into area 51. you wouldnt be able to get there unless your schoolbus took a detour.

As I remember from being a paratrooper with the 82ND. The Flight line at Pope AFB was cordoned off with as a restricted area. The sign which was painted on the flight line warned that "deadly force" is authorized if you pass this point. I would assume Area 51 has the same security protocols. Does that mean you'll be shot on sight. Probably not. You'd be arrested. But if you ran in there with a ski mask and an AK you could find out.

yeah it is. They have sensors that monitor the parameter of the finces. I don't suggest you try it.

I do government would be so careless as to harm innocent civilians...If something like that would happen, it would cause a lot of protesting and lawsuits...
