In my dreams!!! Cosmetic plastic surgery is not covered by Tricare for anyone, at any time. The only time plastic surgery is covered at all is when it is medically necessary, like breast reductions, tummy tucks after extreme weight loss, or reconstructive surgery after an accident. Even those are hard to get sometimes. VERY rarely, at a naval hospital you might be able to get some surgery, because the Dr's need to keep up their experience on various procedures. The wait list is long though. Check at your hospital on base and they will give you the info. |

No! Who is telling you this crap? Part of his reenlistment does not have a plastic surgery clause. That is between you the insurance company, not the federal government.

No, completely untrue. If you have a condition that requires plastic surgery then you need to get a referral for one. They may approve it and then again they may not. It will then depend on what base he is stationed at and if the MTF (Military Treatment Facility) has plastic surgeons on staff. If so and it gets approved then you can have to pay for part of it |
