Is it true that marines are trained to eat $hit when they have nothing to eat?

I don't think so. My husband was a marine, and hasn't told me of any stories like that. Me served 2000-2004. I'll ask him in the morning, and if he says yes then I'll email you.

nope,they do have survival training and will eat shrubs, roots, insects, leaves and can find water from plants.

Probably - they have to learn to do things like that just in case it happens in real life. I mean, I would rather eat $hit than die (I think?). They have to harden them up somehow.

Marines are the USA 911 force, Marines are the "kick in the front door" armed force who occupies. there are three MEU(SOC)'S which stands for Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) which are afloat 24/7 all of the time. When anything conflicts with american interests the USMC will be there to "kick in the front door"

Lets think about this, if there is nothing to eat, how are they going to $hit? If you dont put anything in, nothing comes out!
Besides, $hit is waste, even if you could make something from nothing, it wouldnt have any nutritional value.

they only force them to eat shlt during boot camp. this is done to dehumanize the recruits. the 'training' is just an indoctrination process that will teach you not to run away from danger, something humans are programmed to do, and follow any order without question, even if you think it is wrong. but once you've eaten shlt for the corps you'll die for the corps and you sure as hell won't mind greasing a village full of goooks if thats what it takes to get the job done.
