Walked into an American Legion and during a cold beer I stated "The Vietnam Vets got served by the North". The whole place looked as if they were drinking lemon juice and not beer.

If one got served what does that mean?

I suggest you show respect to those who served in that war, they fought and a lot lost their lives, you don't say things like that to any vet, no matter what war. (and by the way being served mean you lost and were made to look like clowns.)

Hmmm..kinda in a round about way you told them the Viet Nam Vets Had there butts handed to them by the North Vietnamese. That the North Vietnamese were the victors. You are lucky you only got a look.
