Is there Tech School for Air Force in Northern Virginia?

my husband is away for boot camp and
im just wondering if there is any tech school in Northern Virginia ?

Please be specific and I dont want any links to tell me anything.
i want to hear YOUR words.

and if NOT in VA, tell me somewhere closer.

The only one I know of for sure is for Helicopter Mechanics, It is a multi service school taught at Ft Eustis, VA.
Any others would also be multi service. None are AF exclusive in VA.

I assume you are asking so you can be near him without moving while he is in training. What is your husband's AFSC? There is one air force (actually mulit-service) tech school in Northern Virginia and it is Defense Language Institute East (DLI-E). It is for the more "exotic" languages that are not taught out at DLI West in Monterey, CA. It won't show up on a list of tech schools anywhere. There is also a tech school for helicopter maintnence at Ft. Eustice, VA. Media, Public Affairs and Photography tech schools are close by at Ft. Meade, MD. Histopathology (medical) is taught right in Washington DC.

Also, if your husband doesn't have an AFSC yet (went in open general), and you are trying to get a tech school in VA, then this is a pretty unorthodox way (not recommended) of choosing an air force career. After tech school he can be sent anywhere and you will have to move anyway. It is pretty much impossible to choose your tech school by location.
