Is there a contract that let's you try out for Force Reconnaissance straight out or Marine Basic Training?

Also, what would the pipeline be and what schools would I be expected to go to? I really want to become a freefaller and a Mountaineer in the Force Recon.

You need to sign up to be in the 03 field (infantry). When I was in infantry school they had open try-outs for force recon.

Not sure about the Marines but the Army has a Ranger contract.

ok i dont know but i think youve been playin a little too much COD 4, haha there is better things to do than join the Marines..such as JOIN THE ARMY

First of all ,A contract means nothing. All they have to do is send you to the schools that you sign up for. (all services) After that it's up to them to decide where they want you. You have to have the balls to pass the course first. Back in the day my brother was in force recon Marines. didn't ask for it didn't want it, hated it. finally got out went to the M P's. I was Army Airborne Rangers,Special Forces.5th Group Loved every minute of it. Wouldn't have had it any other way.
