My husband has tried joining the national guard, army and marines, but now one is accepting people with a GED and a misdemeanor charge right now!! Is there any other branch he can join, or is there anywhere can go to get a waiver for this?

sorry, the best thing he can do if he needs a waiver and wants to join is to have or get 15 semester hours of college |

If he cannot get into the Army with a GED, he will not get into any other service with a GED.
His best bet, is to earn at least 15 college semester hours of credit.
That way, his GED will be treated like a HS Diploma. |

If he enrolls in community college, and finishes 15 hours, he'll be treated like a high school graduate. |
