Is there any way to hurry a waiver along?

I have been waiting about 3 weeks for a waiver to go through. Or really just prior medical records to get checked. I feel so helpless right now. Is there anything I can do besides calling and bugging the hell out of my recruiter every so many days?

Absolutely not. It takes anywhere from 30-45 business days to get a waiver and they take every second of it.

I wated exactly 45 days for a concussion waiver. Just wait and be patient Ive been in your shoes.

I had an ELS and had to get an RE3 wavier. I’ve been working with my recruiter since last November 08’. I had to wait the through holidays before it was filed. Do an interview with a MSGT, write an essay, then wait more. It took about two months, finally I got approval and the MEPS physical and pick my MOS which was worth wait. I took the time to workout and study more military history, now I ship in September more waiting. Just make use of your time and don’t think about it. At first I would stop by the station every week, but it seemed to annoy them, about three weeks of not stopping by or calling my recruiter called. Be positive and patience and make use of the time good luck!

Even bugging your recruiter won't make it go any quicker... it's not in his hands. It could take up to 2 months. They're in no hurry to appease you.

Welcome to the military... hurry up and wait.

You want a waiver? Don't rock the boat.

no. they take as long as they take because they are in no hurry at all to grant it.. they have plenty of fully qualified people who do NOT need waivers trying to get in.

Last time I checked...
They were not granting any Waivers for anything...
