Find answers to your legal question.

Is there even a slight chance that the Korean War will start again?

The question is pretty self-explanatory. Due to the recent sinking of the ROKS Cheonan and the fault apparently lying in the North Koreans, will any of the two Koreas act? I know there have been many border incidents like this before since the 1950's, but this is probably the deadliest since the Blue House Raid.
Smart answers please.

No, Because if you look at the international arena, no nation would benefit from another korean war.
IF North Korea was to go to war, china would not be happy and then if they cut all aid north korea would vanish. Only reason why China still funds north korea is to distract US and drain US resources.
Also, it would not be in the interest of US to have another war, especially with nuclear powers.

Also, before the hegemonic powers were not as consolidated and thus they would allow such a war to happen but now with the clash of the powers (ie us and china) a war would be less likely especially with a nation attempting to gain nuclear armament

It's always possible, but I doubt it very much. The North knows that it would be creamed in such a war. And the South knows that the cost would be horrendous, possibly even involving the use of nuclear weapons. There's also the 1000 pound gorilla, China.

It could happen because North Korea has nothing to lose. They like to start trouble because they are now a 3rd world country and their people are starving to death. If they launch a missile towards South Korea the U.S. will strike back.

SSG U.S Army
The only way that I see this escalating to a military conflict is if the North Koreans launch a ground war against the South. Neither the ROK or U.S want a war on the Korean penninsula right now. The South Koreans have a great standard of living and the U.S Military is tired and stretched thin. It would be political suicide for either side of the U.S Government to get involved in a third war. This would be a very long and bloody conflict that neither side would benefit from.

It's up to North Korea we will always back our allies. However we will not let the South be the aggressor so any war started we be due to aggression from the North but if the North does that they lose support of their allies and well without China sending money, weapons and troops we would rip through them like a kleenex. If they nuke the South that would be a horrific mistake and you can bet that we will return the favor on the North.
