Since we only need a couple to do the job, we can afford to wait it out until we have a good reason to fly a few.
Right now Iran is only making noise and kicking up sand. At this time Iran is no real threat. All we need to do now is to re-align and re-position a few of our flying-sticks. We can press the buttons at any time we need to. |

Try thinking about questions before posting them....
You don't drop bombs, just to bomb. You have to have targets of military, economic, & political importantce. You also have no follow up to such a action. You bomb them, then what? Do they respond? Do they support terrorist attacks as they have in the past? What about the oil markets? Folks were crying at $3 a gallon. Try cutting the #2 source of oil in the world off. We have enough trouble running Iraq & Afganistan. Are you going to run Iran too?

No...u don't have any reason to attack Iran(not that this ever stopped u)...They don't represent a threat right now,u don't know if they want to build a nuclear weapon(u have absolutely no proof)...And it seems u don't have any legal base to attack Iran...And more,I am sure that now the world won't just sit back and watch,if u attack Iran China and Russia will interfere and of course this could lead to a third world war... |

Soldiers are much like firefighters and ER doctors and paramedics: we've got a skillset that at our deepest core we hope to never have to resort to in earnest.
Trust me, another war isn't something that the US, or the rest of the world for that matter, needs right now. It would put an even greater strain on the global economy than the Iraq conflict already has, and from an outsider's point of view, the US just don't have the money to finance another war just yet. How much was spent through the Iraq conflict so far?
Also, there is a military reason behind this. Never fight on two fronts, let alone three. Napoleon learned that the hard way. As did Hitler. Now, the US government is at risk of doing the same thing. And we know how things ended for Bonaparte and Adolf, don't we?
As a soldier myself, I am supporting troops, even from other nationalities. After all, there might be a different flag on our uniforms, but we're still soldiers. But make no mistake: I am in no hurry of seeing yet another major conflct start in less than 6 years. |

We shoudl have bombed them and killed them all when they bombed the Marine Corps Barracks. Hezbollah claimed responsibility, and Iran controls Hezbollah through proxy. Peace? You tree-huggers go ask them what they think about Israel. Oh, forgot? They think it should be WIPED OFF THE MAP. |
