i have a strong interest in medicine but i was wondering is it best to chose a MOS in ur field of interest that u want as a career eventually or is it ok to go for a MOS that seems fun like computers or intelligence just for the time being even tho you want a career doing something else. i hope this isnt confusing..thanks in advance

It is best to choose a field you are interested in. After all you will be doing the job everyday of your career, you should enjoy what you do. |

You can choose either option. Many people join in one MOS and re-enlist later into another one for various reasons. You may want to join and do the "fun" one, if you have the asvab scores to get into it, and then end up liking it so much that you stick with it. You also might want to look at what your career plans are and begin working towards them right away and have fun in other ways. |

lol Do what you want. For me, my heart is in computers technology. So what you are saying is that you are interested in medicine but think technology is more fun? Sounds like you aren't interested in medicine at all. Interesting careers that you love are the ones you think are fun. Remember, you'll have to do what you enlist for, for 4 years. Do what you love. |
