Joining the army spent a night in the hospital last year my recruiter didnt make a note of it.?

i have signed my contract now and have been processed at meps i dont ship for 4 months can i go back to tell them i was in fact in hospital last year for overnight?

Not thinking of backing out at all. I just dont want anything to **** my chances up. Joining really means alot to me. I was in hospital because I took 3 more aspirins than I should have that day because I thought it was two every four hours than one. My husband got worried and called and ambulance. I wasn't medicated or anything they just checked my heart and told me I can either go home or spend the night. I spent the night. I was never evaluated by a shrink or anything. I was sent home and that was it.

First things first, what were you in the hospital for? If the situation wasn't a disqualifying one then spending a night in the hospital wont get you out of your contract. If you are thinking of backing out you should talk to your recruiter. What you are saying sounds more like an excuse at this point. However if your situation is serious then that should be addressed. But without necessary information then it just simply sounds like you don't want to ship. I have spent nights at an hospital but they weren't anything disqualifying. You must state the reason why you were there for a correct answer to be given.

Its nothing to worry about. You recruiter didn't mention it because though we may be understanding, the doctor at MEPS won't. They will likely take that as a suicide attempt and will want medical documentation as well as a psych consult. It wasn't brought up because it didn't threaten your health, and through your explanation it seems clear as to why you were there. MEPS wont see it the same way and would have probably temporarily disqualified you.

unless it was a serous deal don't worry about it, many people go to the hospital and have to spend the night just for observation, that does not disqualify you for service. Are you Scared and want to drop out? if so you would not be the first, and if your afraid that it's more and you might get in trouble don't worry about it, if there is any place to be and your sick the Army is the place to be the cost is free and they have all the new toys and the best doctors in the world. If you fear the danger you may be in I can only say I too felt scared but it was a new life and didn't know what to expect, but all in all I would do it again if I could even join it to train if they would let me, I had a blast in the service, went to around 20 different countries learned new cultures and will never forget what they told me when I first arrived over-sea's You are here as a guest of this nation and you will be on your best behavior your behavior affects what other countries in the world think of our whole county, you have a chance to charge lives one on one and you are an ambassador of our country so try to be ambassador material and make us proud to have you here. SO with that said Be a good Ambassador and always remember even in bad situations you can get some good out of it. Good Luck!
