9-11 was done by Al Qaeda, which can be found all over the world.

You know a majority are just going to say 'oil' like good little thoughtless sheep to their political views.
According to the UN, Saddam never accounted for the thousands of pounds of weaponized chemical agents they cataloged and refused future cooperation with weapon inspectors and resolutions. In addition, Iraq continued to be in violation of the peace agreements by firing on US aircraft enforcing the 'No-Fly' zones made at the end of the first round of hostilities when Kuwait was invaded. In addition, Iraq had used chemical weapons against Iran and their own citizens - providing a legitimate fear of their future use or sale outside of Iraq. |

They are there in compliance with Public Law #107-243 which authorized military offensive operations against Iraq (Source #1 below). The reasons contained in that legislation are almost identical to those which appeared in Public Law #105-338, the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 (Source #2 below). |

If Iraq even had any nuclear weapons, i'd bet my life savings that they were American made. Remember that the Americans supplied Iraq with weapons so they could fight Iran in the Iran-Iraq war. Nuclear weaponry was an excuse for America to invade Iraq. If America actually found any nuclear weapons in Iraq, they wouldn't want the rest of the world to know since the rest of the world would start blaming the US for supplying weaponry to Iraq.
THe real reason for invasion was oil. I live in Australia and the only thing the Australian army is doing in Iraq is protecting oil wells. |
