Do they pay attention to your menstrual cycles during basic training or keep track of them in any way? I don't have periods anymore due to athletic amenhorrea (I'm extremely physically active so I temporarily don't ovulate) and I don't want them to freak out and make me go through more med exams.

Kleighs mommy - thank you for the concern, but I did actually go to my doctor about it... they tried to force one to happen and it wouldn't. They said it's completely not dangerous in any way and it's only dangerous to bleed too much. Just so you know.. Thanks again, though.

This will go unnoticed unless you bring it up. Actually many recruits have reduced or no menstrual cycle due to the activity in BT. Many female athletes also experience it, don't stress about it. |

They honestly don't care about your menstrual cycle, lol
Seriously though, most women don't experience their periods while in basic because of the physical stress (same as your athletic amehhorrea), so don't worry about it. |

my period was normal except I felt it would hit the moment I went to the feild during basic, some womne on here say their periods completely stops, which is good since women have a tendancy who live togther to get their period all at the same time and PMS at the same time as well. |

I really wouldnt worry lol ive been in green kit for 2 years now and they dont really think about periods lol its worse being in the field and being on but apart from that the guys are never that bad :) they will know when you have your medical so I wouldnt worry about it.
They usually ask if everything is ok, and if youve had any problems. just be honest with them and youll be fine :) |

no they don't they will say that you;ll start gettin em them round the same time which isn't tru. they don't care really when you start or if you on it. when you do get it tho don't use the cramp excuse they don't care. you joined a mans job so be prepared to be treated like one.

you prolly wont get in because of depending on how bad it is. they DI(drill instructors) dint care when and if you are PMSing they are going to break you, this is just something else they will scream at you about. |

as it could mean something is wrong you also need to cut back on the physical activity not having a period is dangerous |
