Leave questions please help?

If you are on leave and have a signed DA31 can they call you in for staff duty before your leave ends?? I was told by my NCO that it was all taken care of and now this.. MY wife is pissed and says its the army or her ?? its not like I can just walk away from my contract and I am a good NCO . can they make me come back for this ? even after he said it was all coverd

I have a DA 31 that ends at midnight on the 12th

They can call you back early from leave, although did YOU ensure YOUR duty was covered before you left. If so have words with who was covering for you. My husband has been called back once one leave, we where several states away when he got the call.
Let you wife cool off a little, don't rush into a leave or me decision, not to sound harsh, but you are not the first and will not be the last to get that ultimatum... many times the wives leave anyway if you leave the military... then you are left regretting it.

Your command has the right to call you back and end your leave early for emergencies. But if they are trying to make you pull staff duty in the middle of your leave and still charge you the days you pulled duty then you should complain to your 1SG or higher if he blows you off. Calling someone back from leave to pull a 24-hour duty other NCOs can do isn't a good reason to call them back.
