Marine OCS PFT Scores?

My husband leaves at the end of next month for Marine OCS. He's worried about his PFT score not being high enough to allow him to get through. Here are his stats:
3 mile run: 23 minutes
Pull ups: 20
Sit-Ups: 100
Are his concerns valid and if so what advice would you give him? His weak point is def. his run time. Thanks for helping out!
Additional Details
He does around 100-150 push ups a day.

Having a first class PFT score shows that he is in top shape but that doesn't mean he will get through OCS. OCS is actually more rigorous than Marine Corps boot camp and has a higher drop out rate as well. If it's just the physical aspect of OCS, he should be fine. Good luck and Semper FI |

As long as he can do the sit ups in the time limit then he's looking at a 270 PFT, well above what he needs for a first class PFT. He could work on his run but he'll probably be fine. |

I'd get that run time down more, thats a big part of pt. |

I don't think they are ridiculous, and by the end of OCS, he will be able to do all of those in no time............. |
