Marine boot camp, giving it a 100% but not quite good enough.?

Im wondering what happens when your in Marine boot camp and you pretty much reach your limit and isn't able to complete a physical obstacle but you give it a 100%, but isn't quite going to cut it, what happens? Do the Di's bust your *** till you pass out or what?

yes by slowing down the whole platton you asking to go to the sandpit afterwards or DI will keep your platoon doing the obstacle course until YOU finish (peer pressure) or other one get your squad leaders to pull your weight and making more tired because of you and so on..he can do pretty much what he can came up with.
there no CANT do in boot camp. your are in a mindset that everything has to be to perfection and if you mess up the whole platoon has to pay for it ... |

If you cant finish the obstacle they put you in a special PT group. After that if you still can't do it you will be discharged regardless of effort. The military does require heart but physical capabilities are just as important. May i suggest the Army or Air Force? Basic for those are much much easier. |

The Drill Instructors keep pushing you. And if that is not enough they have your other trainees push you. |

Basically, it just doesn't happen much.
Very very few people cannot handle the physical aspects of Boot. |

they have corpsman around in case of an event in which you are injured or sick ect. when you get through "Phase one"... dont give up! it gets a little easier. well for me it did. its all worth it. think of it... all that effort, pain, sweat, and tiredness pays off when you claim the tite if a Marine!!! good luck!

Real training happens once you reach the fleet, NOT BOOT CAMP.

you better bust your balls every d@mn second you are awake, we are the best, we are proud because of our physical and mental toughness if you give 100% that is not good enough the MC is giving infinite % to train you to be a warrior the DI will tell you stop your fu**in bi*ch*n and get your fu**in @ss up and give more to the Corps if you want to be a United States Marine you will sacrifice your mind and body for your country no matter how hard it is |

If you can't reach their limit all the time, then yes. But if it's once or twice, then they might let it slide. |

You best believe they drill your ***, but not til you pass out. The only way you can get out of boot camp is if your medically discharged or you are kicked out. And don't do anything stupid like hurting yourself to get out because trust me, you will go to medical and stay there even longer. Boot camp is mind of matter. Don't let it get to your head.
