Marine vs US Navy Seal?

both are good but SEALs do have more training.

SEALS are a highly specialized outfit their training is much more intense than what typical Navy personal receives. Can't even begin to compare the two.

The Marines have specialized troops too RECON comes to mind, their training is also much more intense that what your typical infantrymen get.

Navy Seals are more highly trained.

But I would not like any of them coming at me in combat.

Oh! please does it matter who it is as long as it is the US military get off the Marine vs.Navy Seal,n I am legend movie because that is all it was a movie n it was not that great of a movie to me for all the hype they gave it I was not impressed by the role of Will Smith,either.

If you mean which one is better....I would say the Navy Seals. They're more highly trained...but for open field combat, I would say Marine.

If you mean which one I would like to join...I say neither...RANGERS all the way!! ^_^

SEAL training is harder. Oh, and it's an acronym, so it's SEAL, not Seal.

What information are you after? Who's better, or which of the two jobs should you join?

If it's the latter, don't bother trying to jump into either until you're damn sure which one you want.

They are trained to do different jobs and have much different training, the SEALs also do have some marines with them.
Wash out rate for the SEALs is around 70%, all that start BUDS training are physically qualified, they wash out because mental attitude will not accept the training. A friend of mine just retired from the SEALs and during his career had about 200 HALO jumps. Also a SEAL officer has the only MOH that has been earned in afganstine and as the case so often is he was not alive to recieve it.

US Marines...a whole butt load more of them...stricly a numbers thing here with the zombie issue. Plus they have airpower and armour.
