While Ryan sounds like a douchebag...I have to agree with him (although if Ryan is claiming the title of Marine i'm calling BS on him because Marines never forget to capitalize "Marine"). There are too many keyboard-commandos around here. And anyways, Marines that are not posers usually don't want to talk about the times they left the wire on the internet.
Someone willing to talk nonstop about combat is either a pogue that never left the FOB or a poser.
EDIT:
If you really are curious about the training that recruits endure go rent "Ears Open, Eyeballs Click". If you really do want to be a Marine there is no better moto than this film. However, if you want to be a Marine for the wrong reasons it will most likely just scare you.

Sir, I have never seen the word "Marine" spelled in all caps except for the Marine Corps emblem in which everything is capitalized. I'm not sure exactly what you are getting at... but if you are suggesting I am not who I say I am it would not be difficult to prove. Be careful who you are accusing, especially since you were a fvcking Squid. |
