Which branch of the military would I have the best chance of getting an infantry MOS?

Let me also add I will be an officer not enlisting.

As an officer, the military, not you, will decide if you go in the Infantry. You can ask, of course, but the chances of you getting it is pretty low. You have to be a PT stud, attend as many military schools (Airborne, Air Assault, etc) as you can, and kick butt at Advance Camp.
Usually the Ringknockers from West Point get the Infantry branches, but some ROTC cadets get it.
One of my best buddies from college got comissioned as an Infantry officer, but he had done outstanding in ROTC. |

Army or Marines, because in the Army you go under 11X and you'll either be a Infantryman (11B) or a Mortarman (11C). Or if you want the Marines then pick field the Infantry field (03). They will pick your MOS in infantry. |

Don't know about Marines. In the Army your MOS is picked for you. It is based largely on the needs of the Army but your background can play an important role. If you have a degree in finance you may be a finance officer, Chemical Engineering = Chemical officer, so on and so forth. There is a strong push for Infantry with all the combat zones we are in. |
