Two minutes past 7 in the evening.
Lots of people find the 24 hour clock hard to understand.
If the hours number is bigger than 12, then subtract 12 - and you have the time in the afternoon/evening.
Practice it a few times. You will be soon talking '19:30' |

7:02pm.the easy way to figure this is to note that 1:pm is 13:00 and midnight is 24:00 which is the end of the time period and time re-sets 00:01 at 1 minute past midnight |

If the hour in military time is greater than 12, just subtract 12 and add a "PM" to it. |

there is no military time.
there is zulu, which is gmt, and there is the other ones in which they use locally.
if you are stationed on the west coast, we used tango through uniform time. it changes with the time zone.
it depends on what it is, and what it does to determine what time to use.
me being in communications, we used zulu, but navigation used the local times and battle group ops used both depending on reference. |
