Her bro was deployed 7 months came home 2 weeks then went back 7 more months. now he's spent 1 month at his base and 1 month leave but I think he's goin back to iraq for 9 more months. Why would they give him 2 months from Iraq, do you think he my of got hurt?

You get a chance to go home halfway through a deployment, but usually it's only a couple of weeks. He may have gotten hurt, but then again he may be working the DET left behind at home base. If he got hurt, your friend and/or her parents would have heard about it. Two months is too long for a sprain or pulled muscle, which are the only things that he or his command wouldn't report. |

He actually should have gotten more time at his Base. But stuff happens, If he was wounded he might have been on Med. Leave.
The only way to know is ask him.
And it's called a Purple Heart that you get for wounds received in combat not a Purple Star. |

he might hav gotton hurt but i dont think so cuz if u get really hurt they let u go and u never came back u just get a purple star but i hope not tht would b terible |
