I have the insurance and the registration info. But does she still have to be there? I am the one with the ID. I am a military wife.

DoD Is getting away from Military or Post decals, All you need is your Dependent ID card to go thru the gate.
It also helps to have your Drivers License, Registration, and Insurance Card handy! |

nope. my mom co-signed my car and it was in her name when i joined...all you need is a notarized letter allowing you full use of the car. |

When my husband and I were first married we were using my in-laws truck, they had us bring a letter from them authorizing us to use it - don't remember if we got it notarized or not. Your best bet would be to go ahead and call the office and see what they want you to bring. |

Alot of bases are going away from decals, and if the car isn't in your name you will only get a 24 hr pass for your car, IF that base requires decals. I haven't received one since my first base in 03 |

All you can get for her is a one day pass and yes she has to be there to get it. The car must be registered in either your or your husbands name to register it with the DOD for a base sticker. |
