My fiance is in basic, but i am worried.?

DONT worry!! they tend to EXHAUST the soldiers to where they are too tired to hold a pen up. i went through basic with my fiance in january of this year. (he graduated in april) the longest i went without a letter was about two weeks also. and yes i know how it is to rush home to the mailbox just to see that letter with the scribbly hand writing that you just love :)
also, if they get in the slightest bit of trouble, their mail privileges are taken away. AND he may be out of stamps, paper, etc. just keep writing him, it will always make it easier for him and remind you of him :)

My apologies, but if you are worried due to "trust issues" (and it sounds like you are), perhaps you are not ready to be a "fiance".
It takes a VERY Special sort of Person to be a Military Spouse.

If he's in Basic in Paris Island he is in the Marines and not training with girls. He'll write you when he can.

He is in USMC bootcamp not summer camp. Be lucky he has the time to write at all. And during bootcamp, no males and females are not together, especially like that. Not to mention they put the anti-viagra in the food, so no urges of that nature.

Don't worry about it. He is in military basic training. Either you trust him or you don't. What you going to do if he gets shipped to war?

I don't know about now or this particular D.I.. But I remember if someone made a mistake, or the platoon makes a mistake, the D.I. (according how strict he was) would throw letters, one by one, out the window or in the trash not allowing whoever it belonged to to read it as punishment until things became squared away. Tough training.

He's far too busy to write letters and any free time he has, like 35 seconds a day, he's sleeping. And once in the Marines, they aren't boys and girls, lol, they are men and women and they do not interact at all.

Marine boot Camp is almost like a prison environment. You can't take a leak without permission much less go screw around with a female. Males and females are completely segregated. There is no interaction whatsoever. The recruits have very little time to do anything of a personal nature. When I was in, it was one hour per night and 4 hours on Sunday morning. Even that time was spent polishing boots and organizing your footlocker that the DI trashed during the week. I was lucky to send out one letter a week.

I think u are worry a little too much. My bf graduated in oct, and at time i didnt hear from him in 3weeks. They are uasually kept really busy, and if they are out in the field they usually dont get mail call. I dont know about paris island, but thats my expierence from san diego. Just know that your Mariis thinking about you just as mush as you are thinking about him. He will write when he gets the time, and if his DI's let him(if the platoon gets in trouble theysometimes hold mail)

Oh honey, if you're going to be a military spouse you're going to worry a lot more. I'm sure everything is fine with your fiance, things just get crazy and hectic and out of sorts and long days and nights don't leave much time for anything but sleep. You don't have too much longer until you see him again though, just try and hang in there.

You can also join military spouse support groups online - I'm a member of "Army Wives and Moms" at www.cafemom.com but they've also got them for Marine wives/girlfriends/etc. too.

He's plenty busy, don't expect to hear from him every day. You'll survive.

He's just really busy. When he has free time he's probably spending it taking a shower or sleeping. Be patient. Try to keep yourself occupied.

Marines do not train Co ed. he is forbidden to have any interaction with females altogether unless he has a female DI.

Not getting a letter is perfectly normal. they are busy every minute of the day.

TRUST!!!!!!!!! He dont need a jellous gf here. If something happens, then it was meant to be. He has enough stress going on being in the military without having to try making a jellous gf happy too. He will have to pick one of you... and sorry the military wont aloow themselves to be second on his mind. Has nothing to do with you, just military needs their ppl 100% behind them not worried about which one to make happy.

Also they are so busy. They work them to death. When he has an opportubity to write he will, He may go right back to his bunk and sleep... or go out with his fellow soldiers cuz he needs to to get away from the constant military control.

Be there for him and trust him...Be there for him and trust him.
It will be hard, but its all part of the military life.
