My fiance is now in basic training for the army then he will go straight to AIT from there he just informed me?

my fiance is now in basic traning for the army then he will go straight to AIT well he just informed me yesterday that he just signed a contract with the army rangers which means that as soon as he is done with AIT he will have to go straight to airbourn school so my question is when will he be able to come home so that me and him can get married im really stressed out about this.

Something you will learn quite soon is that your life is no longer your own. Your future hubby's life is no longer his own. He will get back to you eventually. Just be patient. It's a quality you will use often as a military spouse.

He will probably come home right after Ranger school unless he takes a different school courses regarding rangers.

You guys should have married before he shipped out in the first place...but thats your business, and its too late now anyway.

What job is he? It's possible he could go to Airborne hold waiting for an actual slot in Airborne School but more than likely he'll go straight in with only the weekend off. Airborne School is 3 weeks then he'll go straight to the 24 day selection course of Ranger Indoctrination Program. If he makes it through, he'll go on to one of the 3 Ranger battalions. He should get time off to go home after RIP

you will get to see him when the army allows you to see him.. he probably won't even know this.. just be patient and realize that things are no longer in either of your hands..

Last I knew my friends that went into the ranger school went to AIT the to Airborne school then immediately went to ranger school where they first took a pt test then they got to go on leave. It could be different though they could change their leave policies all the time so... I cant tell you exactly when.

He shouldn't be going straight to ranger school, usually no matter what after AIT they get to go home for a short time......It might be a while but be patient, if you think this is hard just wait until you're actually married, you're married to him and the whole army..........Basically my ex husband and I were married 2 years and started out in the same situation..Hence ex... Just hold on, keep faith and be patient :)
