You have to have your own life and keep yourself busy so you're not just sitting around moping all day long. When my husband deployed the first time I enrolled in college and had an associates degree almost complete by the time he got back. I also stayed busy with work and my twin boys. Try to make more friends and just keep busy. |

You have to try and stay busy. Go to school, work, volunteer your time, find a new hobby.
Find support with family and friends. Write in a journal.
Write to him often and send packages. |

he misses you to, just keep writing and talking on the phone when you can, your part of the army as well your supporting your soldier and helping him do what he does, so keep on going and he will be home soon, good luck. |

we miss him and cry and feel sorry for ourselves while the deployment drags on and on which feels like forever and when the man calls we tell him we're doing good and times flying by!
ha ha! just make sure he knows how much you support him and love him send packages and write letters (it means a lot to em)
try and stay busy. like so busy you can hardly breath =)

Mine is leaving for Afghanistan in a couple of months. I am dreading it so so much!
I moved to a new area to be with him, and I'm going to focus on making new friends, my job, volunteering, and acting at a community theater.

live your normal life and keep going.if u dont work,go to school,or do anything then u will have too much time on your hands to think about things.so dont quit doing any of that.i work and school full time,so i miss him.,but are so tired after work,the gym,and homework each day,i ignore it.and when he calls im happy.but i live each day normal so time will go by faster.the only difference is he isnt here.i have to stay strong for him.otherwise he wont keep a clear head over there cause im so sad here.anything else u can email me |

That is a very GOOD question. I'm positive it has been asked for millenniums. That's terrible they haven't given the family/significant others any info. They just want a body behind a gun and to heck with the rest. I'm sorry it was his choice to become a mercenary and left you all behind for a few coins. I would call different VA's to see if they have anything going on. If you live close to one, maybe you could get work there and familiarize yourself with the what is left of the person, maybe meet their families. Get hooked up with people trying to learn about God, and how to enjoy your life while the devil is attacking you. |
