Try your best to ignor the negitive thoughts that go in your head. This is my husbands 3rd tour right now and I sometimes have horrible thoughts enter my head.. I have to make them get out so I can be strong and hold down the "fort". try to hang out with ONLY people that make you feel good. If someone makes you feel bad yuo DO NOT have to be around them. You don't need that kinda stress. Pray if you belive or not in god(s).Go to the entertainment section of Answers ( if ya need a pick-me-up) and then go to polls and surveys..There is funny things on there. I hope this helps. I want to tell you everything will be ok..But i dont like it when people say it to me( even if they are meening to be nice) because you as I am aware of the dangers in Iraq. take care of yourself OK? Write him snail mail..Its something he can hold and have thats from you..I hope he writes you too..My husband did the first two times but now he is so busy he cant much and I think he is drained so he just calls..But letters mean alot...Oh God, i am so lonely right now i am sorry for blabbling on... ( if any weirdos miss read" i am lonely" it means for freindship not men....) Really take care of yourself ok?

At first your story sounds believeable, but after reading through your questions, it sounds like BS.

If this man is really your fiancee and you love him very much, then you are apparently cheating on him (see links below).

If this man you are referring to in your questions is really your fiancee, then how could he have possibly been over in Iraq when he was apparently in the US meeting you just a few weeks ago?

b/c if he was military and he got badly injured they wouldn't have sent him back.But it sounds like it was his choice and he wanted to go bacvk and finish his job.He is brave and I salute him.My husband is in the Marine Corp and preparing to leave.All I can tell you is to pray and continue to stay strong for him and for yourself.Good luck

I don't want to sound like an *** hole, but he might have been being a little dramatic- some people handle deployments better than others, but over all, after all these years gone by, there's still a lot of crazy **** to deal with, but it's really not as bad as it sounds, and for most people gets to be normal. From my experience, a stressing wife is the last thing that successfully rests someone's mind, and if that person on the other line is hanging in there all right back home and nothing to worry about, life becomes that much easier. Everyone deals with it in their own way, and he won't be down and moody forever, but think of the thing he's doing for both of you, maybe put the extra money in savings for when he's back, and spend some time thinking of things to stuff in a care package for when he's off mission, and in however many months when he's home, you both can move on to living your life.

PS. they say the hardest job in the army is being an army wife, but I believe that is only due to the unknowns. 99% of the time, everything is okay, and that's plenty back-up to handle the other 1%.

He needs to get help over there pronto, he needs professional help. They have counseling at every military post in Iraq as well as the world if he does not want to go, call someone at a post around where he is. You can find this out at any recruiting station.
