Yes. It's a don't ask, don't tell policy. There are many gay men in the military, people just don't know.
Being gay does not make you less of a man or a bad Marine. |

The military has a "Don't ask, don't tell," policy. If he wants to join, he needs to not tell. They don't want to know. Now if he acts at all effeminately, he may have some serious problems. |

I think they should. If he's proud enough to serve his country and courageous enough to fight for it I see no reason he can't join. Especially of the dont ask dont tell rule. |

it would be totally illegal if they didnt let him in. yes they will ask him maybe but thats just to learn who he is as a person. if there is a real reason for not letting him in, then he wont get in but its not cause he is gay. everyone has the right to be gay, and that right is protected by the govt, even though the govt dont like it really, they have to protect that right. |
