the person that stays behind in the states are the ones that cant stay faithfull, because iraq is no clubs or time to cheat.

if a person is going to cheat, they would have cheated regardless of their particular situation. being deployed or being left behind while aloved one deploys has NOTHING to do with it.

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but it will be hard for either one of you to stay faithful. 15 months is quite a long time to be separated from your significant other. My husband was deployed for 6 months, and it was enough to almost kill me.
She will have time to go out and have a good time. There will be men around her that are also in the service. But, all that you can do is do your best to stay extremely busy here in the states. I would suggest moving to where ever your family and closest friends are, and filling up your spare time with lots of different things. Learn how to cook, take a few night classes, whatever will keep you occupied.
As for her, you will have to trust her. If you are meant to be with her, then everything will work out fine. I sincerely hope that all goes well for you and your girlfriend during her deployment. Please thank her for me, for protecting our freedom. It is greatly appreciated. You will both be in my prayers during your difficult time.
Good luck with everything!

Have you discussed your concerns with her? Relationships require communication and if you do not talk to her abou this and get it off your chest, you will drive yourself crazy and possibly drive her away. Get a job, get a hobby, get some friends and family for support. When she is gone, support her in everyway possible, send mail, packages and let her know you are behind her.

well friend, there are a lot of things to consider here. When you get to iraq (as a male) ugly females get this disease called "desert Queen-itis". Basically this means that all females there get their pick of any swinging dik they want. so, in all fairness it isn't true that there is no time to cheat. All my friends that have gone have gotten some every time they go, married, dating, single, boyfriends, whatever, it gets left at home bro. sorry

you both should stay faithful and committed to each other. If you love each other then cheating will not be an option. There is chances for both of you to cheat if you so choose so. But stay loyal to each other. It will hard on both of you being far apart like that. You need to support her in every way you can and show your love for her while she is there.
good luck

that is not true at all. The person who stays home, doesnt always have to cheat, it depends on how loyal you are to her. And how loyal she is to you. If you and her truly love each other there will be now room for that. You two can always chat online, and use web cams, to keep your relationship alive. My husband was over there for a year and it is hard, believe me, but you can find other things to surpass your time. Good luck, and stay true. Tell her, thank you for me. I was in for 8 years and never went over, but am proud of all our soldiers.

what do you think thy do when there not getting shoot at there getting it on..

The chance that she won't cheat is slim and none. Putting a young woman in an extremely high stress, life and death situation where she will get her choice of any number of willing men to provide a sense of security for her means the chances of her not cheating are probably lesss than 10%. If you were married, I'd increase that number but she's only your GF.

If you are asking this question, chances are you two won't make it anyway, But just to enlighten you, there is a chance to cheat anytime, anywhere, and deployment has nothing to do with it. If she would, she will, if she won't she would'nt, same goes for you.

I believe it would be hard for her to cheat on you. It typically is that the person who stays behind in war time is the one that gets loneliest with nothing to do and get intimate with someone else. Just a warning, not the best idea to do that though, when she is over there it will be you and her family that will make her keep moving and want to come home.

There is more chances for your girl to cheat. The girl to guy ratio is in her favor. About the people staying behind, it all depends on the person. Some can and some can't.

Although I have not been myself, I have many, many, friends who have gone and come back. There is a lot of infidelity...almost like "What happens in Iraq stays in..." kind of thing.
